The performer of JazzThursday in August is the Czakó Virág Quartet. Virág is one of the promising talents of the new generation, lately she has appeared in various formations, representing the line of traditional jazz. Her repertoire includes standards inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, Diana Krall, complemented by Latin bossa novas and a few groove arrangements. Her fellow musicians include the emerging young generation and older musicians, this evening she is accompanied by Attila Rieger on guitar, Péter Czakó on double bass and Ambrus Richter on drums.
